My name is Kangna Verma and I was born and brought up in Ambala, India. I completed my bachelors in biochemistry from Delhi University and currently am a masters student at Ashoka University. My interest for Neuroscience grew stronger during my first semester of masters and I am intrigued to understand the neural mechanisms behind behavior. I am honoured to be a part of the Marlin lab at Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute and contribute to the research of transgenerational epigenetic inheritance. Outside the lab I love to sing, do yoga, catch up on good TV shows and movies and am looking forward to exploring NYC.
