Born in Texas and raised in Saratoga, New York, Glennis is a student at Barnard College, Columbia University, majoring in Neuroscience. In high school, she conducted research on mitochondrial morphology and estrogen receptor expression in the cortex in Alzheimer’s disease using both organoid and mouse models. She is currently investigating epigenetics in neuroscience in the Marlin Lab.

Beyond research, Glennis volunteers as an EMT in her hometown and serves as an editor for the Columbia Junior Science Journal. She plans to pursue an MD. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends in the city.
