Christina is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is currently a senior at Barnard College studying Neuroscience and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies. Her interests lie in creating connections between concepts of trauma in neuroscience and black feminist principles. Prior to joining the Marlin Lab, Christina worked in the labs of Dr. Rachel Austin and Dr. Meekanashi Rao. Ultimately, Christina hopes to utilize her experience engaging with trauma studies to contribute to initiatives surrounding trauma-informed care in medicine. In her free time Christina loves to knit, play with her cat Lola, and fantasize about endless Caribbean vacations.
